Manufacturers from Across North America Gather for the Manufacturing Solutions Seminar

Stiles Machinery welcomed nearly 130 manufacturers from across North America to our High Point, North Carolina facility last week on June 14th and 15th for the Manufacturing Solutions Seminar. This bi-annual event showcases solutions to current challenges facing the manufacturing industry and highlights the newest advancements in industrial machinery, software, and streamlining processes.

The Manufacturing Solutions Seminar was split into two separate days, focusing on a different industry sector each day: Wednesday focused on Panel Processing, and Thursday was about solutions in Solid Wood and Surface Technologies. On each day, attendees engaged in a series of presentations and live machinery demonstrations from a variety of educators and subject matter experts. The key topics covered at the seminar ranged from the latest manufacturing trends, how to unlock new machine capabilities by upgrading your equipment, the advantages of automating your production, and more.

“This latest Manufacturing Solutions Seminar was attended by a variety of customers, all with one thing in common: getting better. The energy was high, networking was strong, and the engagement was one that was hard to replicate,” said Thomas Allott, Stiles University Manager and MC at the June Manufacturing Solutions Seminar.

After the primary presentations each day, event attendees could choose the breakout session they wanted to take part in. The sessions covered the topics: how to utilize software to streamline production, ways to improve your sales and data generation, air and dust solutions, and defining ways to optimize your manufacturing with Schuler Consulting.

“One of my favorite moments from this past Manufacturing Solutions Seminar was seeing manufacturers from the same and different industries networking and benchmarking each other. We try to provide as much information as possible during this event, but it is hard to replicate the power of learning through networking. This was very present at this June event,” Allott said.

Guests had various networking opportunities throughout the seminar, with periodic breaks and lunchtime each day, as well as two evening receptions. The social times fostered connections between manufacturers, business owners, and industry professionals over drinks and food.

The next Manufacturing Solutions Seminar will be in November. Stay tuned at stilesmachinery.com/mss for event dates, registration, and other details.
