Kuper DMF Series – Veneer Splicer
The DMF/H-1800 is perfect for joining peeled veneer strips from approximately 1.4 mm to 6 mm thick. It features an integrated clipper and is equipped with a horizontal in-feed device. This machine also offers two gluing aggregates with thread turners.
How it works
The veneer sheets transfer from the Veneer Clipper type MCP 2100 and onto the in-feed belts that pull the veneer into the joining station. Single veneer sheets are composed to a flexible carpet by applying special KUPER glue threads across the grain. The two outer top and bottom glue threads are crossed within the joint between each veneer strip by a patented double thread turner to prevent overlapping of the individual veneer strips. You can also add two additional glue thread aggregates for center top and bottom gluing. An integrated clipper then cuts the endless carpet to your pre-selected size. An automatic stacking device deposits the composed carpets onto the lifting table for the next process.
