Storage System Programming and Operation

woodStore is the “brain” of every storage system. This ingenious software links the purchase system to order processing, manages inventory and offcuts, and optimizes material movements.

As the second phase of the Stiles University STORE program, this in-person course builds upon the woodStore programming tools introduced in STORE100. Participants will explore the complexity of their unique storage system and its role in production with a continuous emphasis on the importance of data.

Beginning with a hands-on display of safety mechanisms, operational instruction includes proper start-up and    shut-down procedures, material loading guidelines, storage and transportation optimization, and efficient integration methodology, before concluding with an outline of periodic maintenance procedures.
