CNC Maintenance and Troubleshooting
HOMAG CNC equipment is internationally recognized for its durability and reliability, but no machine is infallible. The goal of this in-person course is to adequately prepare maintenance personnel to expertly confront machine errors in order to prolong machine life, reduce production downtime, and limit dependence on external technical support.
Beginning with a safety orientation, learners are guided through general preventative maintenance procedures of HOMAG CNC equipment regarding lubrication, filters, vacuum systems, tooling, and machine calibration.
However, preventive maintenance does not mitigate all potential problems, so instruction also explores the interpretation of machine communications (including machine data reports and error codes) to identify and troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and software errors.
